Simon Cowell is the executive product for Britain’s version of the show and recently did an interview with Britain’s GQ magazine. He told the magazine that he would like to bring the show to Las Vegas and charge viewers to watch episodes of the show online. Cowell has joined forces with British retail billionaire Phillip Green and the pair are currently in talks with a major hotel-casino venue to find a permanant home for X Factor Las Vegas.
The series is rumored to only be available via the internet with two new episodes being made available per week. Simon Cowell said he got the idea when “Britain’s Got Talent” contestant Susan Boyle’s audition tape became a YouTube sensation, being seen by over 33 million people.
